Homestuck Re-read Part 19: CAN I DO THIS UPD8 BEFORE THE SOPRANOS WATCH PARTY TONIGHT
I didn't think there was going to be an upd8 today since it's a saturday. I think however at this point there have been more saturdays with upd8s then not however, so I should probably start accounting for that. Oh well. It is currently 23:04 right now and me and my friends have a sopranos watch party tonight at midnight. Can I do this (very short) upd8 in less then an hour? Lets find out.

Yknow it's been such an all over the place story that I forgot we haven't actually seen Dave enter yet. We do get to see a previously bought up instance where Dave's brother bailed him out; he sliced a fucking meteor in half and then vanished. Thats bad ass.
Rose's mother and John's dad seem to be headed for Skaia, while Jack is currently laying waste to Wayward Vagabond's army.
He releases the Red Miles that begin to tear apart everything on the battlefield, even the ground itself.
The Draconian Dignitary captures the ectobiological signature of Halley, Colonel Sassacre's dog and combines it with the genetic code taken from Rose's journal. This somehow creates Bec in the dog's image.
Jack destroys Prospit and severs the link to it's moon, causing it to go hurtling into the battlefield. He leave to fight Dave's brother in a duel atop a giant record. It ends with Dave's brother's sword embedded in the disk causing a giant scratch.
Jade save's a sleeping John from near certain death at the cost of her own dreamself and robot.
Rose obliterates a gate.
God, I forgot how much happens in some of these flashes all at once, and just how great they were. I remember watching them so intent and closely and rewinding to make sure I got every last detail. They really bought a lot of magic to Homestuck.
I fucking adore the transition from GameFAQs into the furthest realm. The strange texture'd breakdown from HTML to the void.
Parcel Mistress has slayed the agent who attacked her and places a call to the Soverign Slayer. Even as he is now, he is good to his word. John is delivered the green box containing Jade's gift at long last. A letter in green text, not from Jade or Kanaya is inside.
I don't remember how Jade was in contact with Jake at all actually. That one is a bit of a mystery to me.
Jade's letter to John is tragic. They should have been awake on Propsit together in better times. She wanted to fly around the moon and introduce John to her favorite places and her Prospitian friends and instead she's laid dead on the floor. There is no time for grief, John. Your new bizaro bunny battle bot needs to defend you from certain death.
Back in the present with the exiles a ring is produced.
