Homestuck Re-read Part 27: Jade: Enter.
I am so tired. I have spent all day struggling with the ergonomics of my new web server project. I am currently split 50/50 between "this was a stupid idea and it speaks to me being a fucking idiot that I thought it was a good idea" or "it'll be an okay idea eventually once I've built out the javascript api enough that I am not bouncing between typescript and go constantly". At the very least I do now have a just, plug and play system for this essentially so that will be interesting and useful for future projects, hopefully.
There is, I believe, another 100ish pages of Homestuck for today. I'm going to get started now. It is currently 21:00 .

John is mysteriously sinking in a sea of oil. We get the first mention of The Tumour from Rose.
We get to see Karkat's second conversation with John where he is being a coy fucker. We are now about to watch.
A lot just happened.
John failed to prototype Jade's sprite because Vriska knocked him out. Bec then ejected a bunch of shit in Jade's house into outer space and prototyped themself. He flies up into the sky with a form like a giant wyvern and obliterates the meteor falling on Jade's house.
We see the Strider's fighting with Jack right before Jade enters the medium. Once she's in however, the fight stops. Jack gains the power of the Green Sun and the first guardians. This is the exact moment everything went truly wrong for the kids and the trolls. At least, as far as they know, anyway.

We se Jack destroy the entrance to the new universe the trolls had created, followed by the destruction of Prospit.
The next panel shows us how that fight ended.
The white Queen is examining some machinery on the future earth. Activating it reassembles one of the structures from the meteor.
There is more guidance for John from the traveled mayor. He just ends up locked inside, however.
We see the current state of LOWAS; blazing green in a shade that powers paradox space. It's closing in on him
Vriska thinks she is going to be the one to put Jack down, so set out to involve herself in his creation. It's cyclical, you see. She also wants to make John into a big hero so when he helps her defeat Jack that she can be responsible for that too.
Wayward Vagabond annoys John into doing the windy thing. He does the windy thing so, so much.
Feferi gives past Jade some words of kindness. We learn that Feferi was responsible for the creation of the dreambubbles, through conversing with the outer gods. Jade then gets annoyed because Feferi promised not to use her quirk. But, this is the first time they've spoken? Jade knows Fef make fish puns and Feferi knows about the bunny doll. We slowly come to realize where we are
CC: It is a dream, and a memory. It is the past, bought back to life by a witch! It's all of those things!
Feferi gives Liv Taylor a hug. Feferi isn't asleep now though. She's dead. Every time I see Feferi I'm torn between how cute and terrifying she is at the same time. Ghosts and dead selves live in dream bubbles, a strange eternal post-life where they can interact with the living in stabilized parts of paradox space created by the natural emanations of the outer gods. Since they're also in paradox space, what's to stop one from leaving?
Some shit is afoot. Regular minions now have the powers of first guardians. Things have got a lot harder. Although Bec eventually steps in to remediate the situation. His new wyvern-like form is, imposing. It speaks not in words of tones but in raw directed energy. An exile attempts a conversation in the somewhat distant past.
A newly appointed queen makes an old hand her advisor as today's upd8 ends.
Thank you for reading. It has taken an hour to get this far.
