Homestuck Re-read Part 69: SHES BACK.
Feeling not great today. Not a lot to say right at the start, I'm sorry. I'm just, really fucking exhausted.

Our upd8 begins with the next retcon stop.

The murder of Tavros, specifically. Entering the password allows us to see John witness the murder investigation before John deploys the witness rescued in the previous upd8. Onto the next step.
JUST1C3
This brings us to the conversation between Dave and Terezi when Dave discovered Bro's dead body, had a bit of a weird moment as authority regulator tried to talk to him and then Terezi monologued about the legislascerators(?) who would hunt fugitives like mindfang. The one she did while inspecting Nepeta's and Equius's bodies, kills Terezi would incorrectly attribute to Vriska. John corrects her assumption. Next Jump
HONK
We're back in the weird earthbound test room or something. You know with the kinda odd sprite format. John immediately spots Gamzee hiding menacingly in the corner with Lil Cal. As instructed, he honks a horn and hides. Terezi is alerted to Gamzee's presence She's able to capture Gamzee in the ensuing struggle and looks to be taking him to the roof as a prisoner.
VRISKA AND MEENAH
They're just, frolicking through the paradox space dream bubble memory countryside They trip and fall and roll down a mountain side landing in eachother's arms. They kiss.
JANE, JADE AND CALLIE
After accidentally killing Roxy, Jane went to try and revive her using her powers. The others present didn't know she could heal her, so with her guard lowered they cut her down. Jade suggests preparing Roxy a trollsona for when she arrives, as a gift of reconciliation. It's explained that the one who likely killed her was unexpected, they are seemingly whoever was given the ring in this version of events. Someone who the curtain was closed on early.

The critical moment where Terezi killed Vriska. John interrupts proceedings He performs his patented 'Egbert Punch' saving her from execution. He attempts to explain himself to Terezi mostly unsuccessfully. There is one last stage of the plan however,
G1V3 H3R YOUR W4LL3T
Which, John cannot do. The last time we saw it, it was on a destroyed aradiabot sent back to Alternia. It's how Aradia got her hat. John explains it could captcha something big but the whole explanation is interrupted by Karkat. Also Kanaya and Sollux's arrival. He starts trying to comprehend what the outcome of all of this meddling is while trolls just sort of mill around vaguely talking about the situation.
John removes himself from the situation just as Vriska wakes up.
LOWAS
The plan is complete. John appears back on LOWAS to meet up with Roxy. He gifts her the ring. The pair join hands for another jump, this time, moving the entirety of LOWAS.
Giving us one, very big flash.
JADE: i remember now
CALLIOPE: remember what?
JADE: i remember what happened to us!
...
JADE: when i went to hijack the meteor, there was someone there i didnt expect to see
CALLIOPE: who was it?
JADE: i think jane covered the "who" pretty well with her colorful description already
JADE: whats more interesting is, it made me realize ive been wrong all along
JANE: Wrong about what, Jade?
JADE: we were never dead at all
JADE: weve been asleep!
The unexpected individual was Vriska. If you have a brain with which to comprehend Homestuck, you already knew it was Vriska.
