Homestuck Re-read Part 78: It's still not finished?

That, headline sounds a little bit like I'm complaining, which I'm not. It might seem like I'm getting a bit burned out but I'm really not. I'm just surprised since ending at New Years seemed like a good wrapping up point. I was looking forward to moving onto some other Homestuck media, but that's okay!

Lets see where this upd8 takes us too.

HOMESTUCK.

We are rejoining Alt Calliope and Jade as they travel towards the green sun. Calliope is now primed to begin her work, after which she will never be seen again. She also explains that soon, Jade will not have access to her First Guardian powers, and gives her the same advice that she gave to Calliope.

She watches as Calliope flies off into the green sun. AND THEN MOTHERFUCKIN DAVEPETAPSIRTE^2 SHOWS UP!!!! It is a pretty all over the place conversation where they catch up on, their whole respective timelines and such. Davepeta is on their way to fuck up Lord English, Jade is just kinda there watching her friend fly into the sun in a dignified manner. We get more ultimate self type stuff again! Apparently it would only be safe/bearable for a sprite^2 to become an ultimate self.

Davepeta suddenly kisses Jade before waking her up.

She is surrounded by Calliope and the Mayor with a note tied to her hand. She sets off to deal with Bec Noir and Parcel Mistress.

Our upd8 ends with Dirk and Dave waiting with Terezi for the fight to start.
