Youtube Videos I watched In July 2025 That I Think You Should Watch Too

Considering how many videos I watch, I feel like it'd be a good idea to do something with that, so it can feel slightly less like I'm just idly watching random bullshit. I've been thinking about it for a while but starting things is, incredibly hard. But doing anything is hard for me recently, so starting with an easy hard thing is a good idea. And what can be easier then noting down some videos I'd already watch? Considering how long it took to start doing this, insurmountably difficult, but I'm doing it now.

So here's the video that made me feel like I should actually start.

Videos

Ramblebable - I Saw The TV Glow, The Matrix, and Trans Gnostic Stories (A Video Essay)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMt58VtMZgc

This is the first video from Ramblebable I've ever seen, I hope it won't be the last. There is a lot going on in this video, covering a short history of gnostic and neo-gnostic imagery & themes in transgender media, drowning colour filters over threshold-ed video to create a unique aesthetic and personal stories from their transition.

I Saw the TV Glow was an exceptional movie that I watched last year with my friend Serena that was intense for both of us, and during it we had to stop during the scene where Owen is trying to wash away the The Pink Opaque's ghost symbol from the back of their neck, because it reminded me of being 14 and stuck in a friend's bathroom trying desperately to remove a full face of makeup my friend had put on me. I could not go home with it on, I couldn't adequately explain why I desperately needed to remove it. I couldn't bring myself to go out there in front of all three of my IRL friends and beg one of them for help. Watching Ramblebable share a similar story bought back by the same scene, while different, made me feel less alone about this.

Is this for you?

There is so much life waiting for you after the blue pill.

Please, look out for yourself.

cyndifusic - Why do people keep crashing into CVS?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4p8JhIzmkco

The United States of America is home to many proud traditions:

One of the less well known of these is apparently ramming pharmacies with their fucking cars? Or more specifically, into CVS pharmacies. Sometimes, more then once! While there is no definitive conclusion about why motorists are carrying out a vendetta against Big Pharma, or if this specific tendril of the for-profit medical industry's stranglehold on the US' way of life is hit at a higher rate then other large stores, it's a very fun short-ish video.

Snibby - I Left a Time Capsule in Minecraft 15 Years Ago...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYay9rXS4AY

Short and sweet. A chest below a minecraft house labelled 'for future me'. A small cache of items the younger version of Snibby left for himself to help him enjoy revisiting his world at some point in the future.

Minecraft didn't just keep my blocks safe, it kept a part of me safe too.

Ending

Well, today is the 31st of July, the day I need to publish this. I am somewhat surprised I didn't find any more videos, but I am happy with these 3. I hope you like these videos, and I will hopefully see you in the next post.
